Goodbye to all!!

i think we will be hitting up the scottsdale train park again this year. it wont be nearly as fun as last year without all the free rides. we walked in to the park and started riding the rides w/o buying any tickets, we just thought it was part of the holidays. no, not so. started to look around and notice everyone in wheelchairs and walkers. we stopped and read one of the signs that was posted ion the middle of the park that read something about a special night for kids with disablities. Boy did we feel silly, but then started to think why nobody said anything or kicked us out??? im thinking who is it that was the one blending in??? hopefully we go on the right night this year! the kids are looking forward to the train rides and carousel.

Turkey Day

Thanksgiving was actually pretty fun this year. We had some cookie decorating for the kids as well as some games of football, duck duck goose and darts (thanks to uncle John and grampa earl) all the little kids were trying to impale the others with the real darts! I played and was victorious against my mom in ping pong...that was lovely:) jimmy was busy having the kids race each other but did take a break for some football and darts. He was wondering where the corn hole was, but i guess it has been played out???

Jayla at 2 years

Walking into WalMart one morning, I thought, "Jayla looks so dang cute today, Im gonna get her pics taken at the cheapo wally world for six bucks." Good idea till we sat down to look at all the pictures she had just taken and the girl told me the best package was $777, but they are giving us a deal at $300! hell to the NO. i couldnt believe walmart tried me like that. I ended up ordering by the sheet, which was still too steep at $10 a sheet. Furthermore, i will not be getting any more pictures taken at walmart!

all you guys...

okay, im gonna copy some of the blogs that ive read and just add a little funny thing that jameer said to me while getting in the car on the way to school. i was totally rushing with three kids and one that wants to feed just at the moment we are ready to walk out the door, it seems to take at least half hour longer than it used to. so, once again, i havent quite mastered the time to get me ready. i had slept on wet hair last night and it was lookin mighty carzy with no time to put a flat iron to it so i went back to the track days and threw on a bandana. anyways... as i was buckling jameer into his seat he looked at me and said, "mom, you look so fresh." hopefully that was a good thing;)

Josslynn Devine....Not so much 10 lbs!

Okay, so it says 8lbs 12 ozs...not 10 lbs..still a BIG baby but my body is just made to shoot out the big ones! (poor Jimmy:) I am just glad that I have the friends and fam (Bai) that I have, that agree with the whole "jumping into a c-section" is not always the best option. I had to call Sandee and let her know how thankful I am to her that she backed me up with the whole 2nd opinion. I wanted to go with my gut and how I felt the baby wasnt that big but if anything were to have gone wrong it would have been on me. Luckily the specialist said I should have no problem and spoke with my Dr and we scheduled an induction the following morning. Inductions suck! I would have much rather labored at home and went in after a few hours of being able to walk around. We got to the hospital at 10 am and was confined to the bed through the entire day waiting for the antibiotics to slowly drip into me. After water was broke, it went pretty fast! I got my epidural at 7 cm and 1/2 hour later she was here! That was an almost perfect epidural and I felt EVERYTHING! I dont think I ever screamed during child birth, but Im sure my neighbors were wondering if I was really delivering a 10 pounder! It was great! Dr Lepetich was awesome and had total confidence that I would deliver vaginally with no problem..why did I switch doctors again??? Life is sooo much easier without surgery. I am recovering so far, so good, and I can still put baby down and play with my other two, which I was so worried about if I got a c-section. I know my family is blessed and now we are complete!! yeaah, its over...what felt like 2 years of pregnancy is finally done.

It looks like I gave birth to a 2 year old... she does look pretty darn big!!

NEW STUFF

Our computer has been out of wack for the last month or two and I havent posted anything, but that could just be from simple laziness on my part. My awesome bro-in-law came in town to celebrate my moms BIG 50 birthday and decided to pull an all-nighter to basically rebuild my computer. That guy is a genious! I tried to get him to go to sleep at 5 am but I guess when he starts something, he just cant stop! I know jimmy tried to stay up with him and lasted till bout 3am (Im sure Halo and sports center helped with that) but Tony stuck it out! BIG thanks to Kel who lended us her hubby all night long on the 1st night of their little vacation back home. THANK YOU THANK YOU!

The kids got their pictures taken by my sisters sister-in-law (if ya follow me) at the beginning of the summer and I never got around to posting them, so before I get more taken, Im gonna show em of now! I love these little kiddos, even tho they werent very cooperative and wanted to wrestle each other down every 5 seconds! Thanks to Aleiah for all her patience with the gorgeous terrors!

Back at it!!!

Jayla is excited to have a new....lil sister! Jameer still says he is having a lil brother, but soon enough he will know that it's another sister that he is running into the ground! Baby girl will be arriving between October 20th and 25th. We hope to have a name picked by then, it'll be a little harder, seeing we already had a boy name. Some may be happy that it's a girl, cuz I've heard too many negatives on my boy name....we are excited!

never knew...

Ok, so i am at work again...browsing the net and i nosed my way over to baileys page and then from hers, i went to her friend taytums. i had to stop myself from crying in front of the boys! i felt everything she was saying! she just found out that her and her husband are finally preggo! and i say "finally" because of her little journey to get there. When jimmy and i first got pregnant, we were NOT planning, so we are one of the "accident" couples that she spoke about. then we became pregnant with Jayla and were REALLY excited but took it for granted and became the "its so easy" couple. we found out we would be expecting baby #3 in september of last year. as soon as i found out, i told everyone..."no big deal." i went to dr's appointment on october 31, halloween, to hear the heartbeat and never heard it. two ultrasounds later and a trip to the hospital finalized the idea i did not want to accept. I was under the impression that i had two healthy pregnancies before, why would this one be any different??? It hurt. my cousin and his wife went through this on their first one and i didnt quite understand until it happened to me. I feel for the couples who never get a chance to experience childbirth and being pregnant and i am lucky enough to have done it twice already. yessss, i am one of those women who do NOT get sick and i love being preggo! i think having jimmy and the other two children in my life helped me a great deal with the miscarriage. i never had to experience the uncertainty of whether or not i could even get pregnant until now. We still want more kids but knowing the we have little control over what happens, it hurts and its scary. so sandee, sometimes i cry when i read your blog. you know that our due dates were within, what, 2 weeks? i love you and all my girls that are preggo or have kids or are trying... or not at all. i just wanted to say thanks to those who helped out and supported me and the fam. LOVE YOU! okay, thats enough of the mushy stuff, not so much me. thanks to taytum for reminding me just how precious our children are and the gift of life is!

Christmas

This is the ONLY pic I took with my camera phone on Christmas morning. We had the video camera going and let me tell you how retarded I am... Grampa Leo and Gramma Penny came over early on Christmas day to watch the kids open their presents. I was so busy helping put together this toy or put a battery in that on that I didn't notice that I also received a present. Jimmy was behind the recorder as he went to the side room, pushed a huge flat screen tv into the room, went and sat behind me and I didn't notice it for about 20 minutes. I took Jameer outside, we rode his trike around, and when I walked in I saw it and thought he brought it out when we were outside. Anyway, it was a lovely gift and I can now lay in my bed and watch tv while Jimmy is on the 360...yeah! What a thoughtful husband, or is that because he wanted more time on the game w/o me asking to watch tv???

Now on to the kids, who I always say I will not spend more than a certain amount... never fails that I go waay over my limit every year! Maybe I should have spent even more and bought a bike that Jameer actually fits! Don't laugh at that giant riding the little trike! (It will be Jayla's soon.) He just did not look like he was going to manage a big boy bike when we were doing our "toy test run" in the store! I wish I would have known he would catch on as quick as he did, then I would have got the other. Jayla's Christmas was full of baby dolls and barbies. She loves to push her baby around in her stroller everywhere she goes. It's so cute to see her being such a "girl." The other day we went out to eat and I put Jayla in a dress and put her bracelet on and fancy little shoes and she was struttin her stuff! Jameer asked me if she was a princess and kept referring to her as "the princess."

to suck or not to suck...

Okay, this belongs somewhere in the middle of December, but because my blogging came to a screeching halt immediately after starting it up, I have to play extreme catch up! No, Jayla DID NOT break her arm or hand, but her babysitter and the ladies at the daycare at LA Fitness probably wanted to call CPS on us when they saw her! :) Some of you feel me on that, right? This is my oh so intelligent hubby's way to deter Jayla from sucking her thumb! Okay, we had Jameer off the paci before he turned 1 and Jayla is now 1 1/2, but he has the girls entire arm bandaged up! I came home from work and saw this for the first time and started dying laughing, but Jimmy was as serious as ever! I don't know which was more funny....Jimmy being as serious as he was or my poor baby bandaged up like that!

Jimmys 28th Birthday!!!

Okay, we celebrated Jimmy's birthday early December and I took a couple cute shots of Daddy and kiddos but I think they are on the 'real' camera???? Here is one of them the other night before headin off to bed. I was actually the one reading to them until HE got home and they ditched me for daddy! We had a fun day making cookies and playing games with the fam...then the little ones were shipped off to Aunt Bai's and we were swooped up by the limo. Yeah, we thought we were living the high life, til the limo company decided to charge extra dinero to my cc card and after calling and calling, voice mail after voicemail, that sucker still hasn't reimbursed me!! I am still calling at least once a day, I might have to march my happy lil self into Scottsdale and handle things in person. I am trying to avoid that because, I'm sorry, Bai, but you know I will have to take the little angels to you for a couple of hours. On that note, I just wanna say that Jimmy and I really do appreciate all the time you are willing to spend with Jameer and Jayla. They can definitely be a handful and when you throw Brody in there...it's a zoo!!! I think, maybe cuz all three of them do NOT know what an inside voice is........
"they get it from their mama(s)!!"
