Christmas Kid Pics

Yeah, I picked up the kids pictures for the Holidays! This was so last minute for me and boy was I stressed that I forgot a few minor details, but you would never know (unless I already told you, BAI, don't go tellin!) I am just glad these turned out better than Walmart...you get what you pay for! I am going to use Baileys gal next time for our family pictures. I love all the shots from her that I've seen!

Special Moment

So, Jameer and I shared a special moment this morning. He woke me up around 6:45am asking to go to school. Instead of getting him ready and into his school clothes right away, I headed to the bathroom myself. Jameer followed me in and asked if I was going potty. I told him I was and he said, "you going dookie?" I said "no." He responded with, "well, I went dookie...right here." He pointed to his booty and waddled out of the room. I was dying laughing cause that boy will NOT go dookie in the potty! He tries everything to avoid it! Very frustrating, seeing how Mommy is the one that has to clean up the mess and make it all better (or Miss Sandee, she is such a great friend...and mom!) We have been potty training for the past month or so and he does great EXCEPT for the dookie (#2 for those of you who are still wondering what in the heck I am talking about!) Hopefully Jameer will get it right before Jayla passes him up! She is already trying to climb into the potty every time we head to the bathtub! I love those kiddos!

Tonto Creek in the AZ

I had a day off a few months ago and the kids and I wanted to do something different...you know, get away, so we headed up north. We were gonna stay the night in some cabin near Christopher Creek but Jimmy had to work and I was too nervous to stay by myself, so we ended up at the fish hatchery at Christopher Creek for our first stop of the day. The kids loved all the little fish. Jameer was trying to get food out of the little machines to feed the fish but I had NO CHANGE AT ALL! How sad for them, but they got over it quick! After about 20 minutes (which seemed waaay longer) of the hatchery, we walked down to check out the water in the creek. It was a little cold but Jayla jumped right in! Jameer followed and when Jayla decided to give the water a little taste, so followed Jameer. needless to say, both children had the worste case of #2's ever at the end of the day! On the way home we stopped at the BIG GREEN BARN and checked out the little campsite and climbed a mountain. We ended up with some scraped up knees and hands but had lotsa fun! All in all, it was a very entertaining day!

We finally got some pictures back from Jameer and his team. He is such a super star! It is so funny how much he learned from the first game to the last...yet, if you had not watched his first games you would think otherwise! When he first started on the team, he was so fascinated by the hardwood floor and his new Jordans that he couldn't stop running in circles and looking at himself. By the end of the season, he was the fastest one to the other end of the court!

Just For Starters

Jimmy and I met my junior year in college... in the weight room. He thought I looked great doing those powers cleans! We dated until I graduated in 2003 and we moved from FLA to the AZ and got married. It's been almost 4 years of marriage. Jimmy is the BEST hubby ever and the hardest worker I know. They say you work hard to play hard...and if any of you know how hard he plays his 360 then you can get an idea of just how hard he works!

I love him and my two little munchkins, Jameer and Jayla. The energy that these kids have, shoot, I should weigh about 50 lbs less than I do just by trying to keep up! I love being a mom and wife! Yet, I will admit that I love my job (and the little break it gives me:) Jameer keeps both Jayla and myself on our toes. He is constantly jumping on my back trying to get a free ride and for some reason he thinks Jayla wants to pack him around too??? Maybe she does....

Just today, I looked out the window to find Jameer setting Jayla up in the football stance, hiking the ball and then tackling her! I ran to get the video camera but the tape was over from his last basketball game!!! It was the cutest thing ever! Jayla just got gown on one hand and let him plow her into the grass over and over! Both were laughing hysterically and it made me laugh out loud! She is one tuff cookie!

My family means the world to me...immediate fam and close friends who are just like fam (you know the ones who share their home with you, but end up stealing your car while you're alseep and don't even invite you to come along??? hmm) I love you guys!

Halloween and Jameer's Basketball

We had a good Halloween, we hung out with little cousin Brody and Chris and Bailey. We did some trick-or-treating...we didn't get far, but we still had fun! We had dinner at Applebee's and then called it a night.(Jameer was Michael Jackson) As Jimmy would say "That stage was before his molestation days!"

Today was Jameer's last basketball game. He plays for the YMCA. He is so fun to watch, here are a few pictures and a video from today!
